Mrs. Wilma Eubanks
December 28, 1927 ~ July 18, 2009
Age 81
Mrs. Eubanks was born in Oakhill, Alabama to Mr. and Mrs. Edward and Arnice (LaRue) Shelton. She lived in Snead, Alabama with her husband and children.
Mrs. Eubanks began teaching at the age of 15 on an Emergency Certificate at Snead School and Later at Hoods Crossroads School. During summer break, she attended Snead State Community College and Jacksonville State University majoring in English and taught at Susan Moore School. Earning a Masters Degree in History and Administration-Supervision and a State Certification in Guidance and Counseling, She was the first full-time Guidance Counselor in Blount County.
Mrs. Eubanks is preceded in death by her parents and brothers: Welton Shelton and Willard Lee Shelton.
She is survived by:

Funeral Services:
Brother Barry Hallman conducted funeral services at Snead Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, July 20, 2009, at 2:00 P.M.
Visitation was held on Sunday, July 19, 2009 from 5:30-8:00 P.M. and Monday from 8:00 A.M. until funeral time.
A Private Burial followed at Gibbs Chapel Cemetery.
