Mr. William Alton Hall, age 77 of Albertville, passed away on Saturday, October 11, 2014 at Marshall Medical Center South.

Mr. Hall was married to the love if his life, Ms. Sandra Stephens Hall, for 43 years. He is a veteran, with service in both the Navy and the Army. He is a member if Grace Baptist Church. Mr. Hall is a graduate of Glencoe High School and received his B.S. and Master's Degrees from Jacksonville State University. He was an educator for 30 years, having been a teacher and football coach for 28 years in Georgia before retiring. The family wishes to express their gratitude to Amedisys Health Care and to his caregivers, Terasha and Tamera.

Bill is survived by his wife Sandra Stephens Hall of Albertville; his children LeAnn Cornelius of Oneonta, Brad & Teresa Hall of Oneonta, Ben & Diana Hall of Flowery Branch, GA, Josh & Whitney Hall of Lavonia, Ga, and Jeb & Erin Hall of Fuquay-Varina, NC. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.

Mr. Hall is preceded in death by his parents Hubert and Aline Watts Hall and his brother Ray Hall.

Curtis Hawkins will conduct the 2pm Graveside Service at Bethel Cemetery on Tuesday, October 14, 2014. Mr. Hall will lie in state at Snead Funeral Home on Monday from 5:00pm until 7:00pm. Snead Funeral Home Directing
