Mr. Wendell Lee King, age 84 of Snead, Alabama, passed away on Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at his residence.  He was born on August 13, 1940, to Ernest Arthur and Willie Clevie Huffstutler King.  Wendell is preceded in death by his parents and his siblings, Onnis King, Ernestine King, and Emma Jean King.

Mr. King is survived by his wife of 59 years, Brenda Hudson King; his daughter and son-in-law, Renita and Gary Alldredge; his daughter and son-in-law, Deborah and Jeromy Barksdale; his grandchildren, Whitney and Dustin Hardy, Madison and Alex Marks, Ashlie Barksdale, and Katie Barksdale; his great grandchildren, Alyssa Hardy, Paisley Hardy, Oliver Hardy, Savannah Marks, Gage Marks, Jalen Barksdale, Kynslee Barksdale, Kyrie Barksdale, and Kelen Barksdale; and his siblings, Jerrel King and Billy Joe King.

Curtis Hawkins and David Auterson will conduct the Funeral Service on Saturday, March 22, 2025, at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of the Snead Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery in Susan Moore, Alabama. The family will receive friends, at Snead Funeral Home, on Saturday beginning at 12:00 PM.

Gary Alldredge, Dustin Hardy, Alex Marks, Eddie King, Trent Eubanks, and Bud Jones have been asked to serve as Pallbearers.
