Mr. Kenneth Virgle Latta, age 85, went to be home with the Lord on Good Friday.  Was a graduate of Susan Moore High School, served his country in the Army, retired from Goodyear after 30 years, and was a member of Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.

He was preceded in death by his parents; James and Eva Latta; and siblings – Alma Baker, Louise Leigeber Green, infant Opal Latta, Era Washington, Ed Latta, and Wayne Latta.

Mr. Latta is survived by his wife – Charlotte Latta; children – Tony (Heather) Latta, Ritchie (Rachel) Latta; grandchildren – Brooke (TJ) Gillespie, Anthony (Carrie) Latta, Daniel (Amanda) Peters, Ashley (Kyle) Sides, Paige Latta, Jaclyn (Travis) Adams, Payton Baker, Taylor Latta, Trey Latta; 5 great grandchildren; a host of nieces and nephews; sister-in-law – Joan (Ray) Graham; siblings – Cecil (Linda) Latta, Faye Grimmett, Linda Beasley, and Tommy Latta.

Brother Dan Boatman and Brother Larry Scoggins will conduct the Funeral Service on Monday, April 10, 2023 at 1:00 PM at The Chapel of The Snead Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at New Lebanon Cemetery in Blountsville.  Mr. Latta will Lie In Repose, at Snead Funeral Home, Monday from 11:00 AM until Funeral Time.

Pallbearers will be – Anthony Latta, Trey Latta, Shannon Graham, Travis Adams, Jimmy Latta, and Mark Helton.
