Mr. Vernon Elred Wigley, age 76 of Pinson, Alabama, passed away Monday, February 20, 2017 at St. Vincent East Hospital.

Mr. Wigley is survived by his wife - Shirley Lyles Wigley of Pinson, AL.; his daughter and son-in-law - Kim and Ricky Shirley of Trussville, AL.; his daughter - Brandy Shea Wigley of Clay, AL.; his grandaughter - Whitney Shirley of Trussville, AL.; his grandson - Zachary Shirley of Trussville, AL.; his sister - Hazel Wigley LaRue of Bessemer, AL; and his beloved dog - Murphy

He is preceded in death by his parents - Limie Elred and Kathleen Stevenson Wigley.

Brother Kenneth Little, Brother Johnny Hughes, and Richard Calverley will conduct the funeral service Thursday, February 23, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at The Chapel of the Snead Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Nixon Chapel Cemetery. Mr. Wigley will lie in repose at Snead Funeral Home Wednesday from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 12(noon) until funeral time.

Ricky Shirley, Zachary Shirley, Milton Eason, IV, Richard Calverley, Aaron Patterson, Ricky Light, and Danny Light will serve as Pallbearers.

Benny Shirley, Toby Lee, Raymond Morgan, Jerry Wheeler, and Milton Eason, III will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
