Mrs. Verlie Laten Adams, age 77 of Brooksville, passed away Tuesday, May 8, 2012 at her residence.

Mrs. Adams was born October 23, 1934 to James Authur and Bunie (Claburn) Laten. Mrs. Adams met Donald Adams when she was 6 years old and they were married on May 23, 1953.

Mrs. Adams is survived by her husband of 59 years Donald Adams, Son; Randall and Faye Adams of Albertville, Daughter; Kathy and Howard Chambers of Brooksville, Grandchildren; Wade and Renee Adams, Shawn and Amy Adams, Clifford and Amber Adams, Anthony and Jennifer Chambers, Keith and Heidi Chambers, and Danny and Kayla Chambers, Great Grandchildren; Aryn Adams, Ella Kate Adams, Lydia Beth Adams, Morgan Chambers, Harly Chambers, Madilyn Chambers, Camran Adams, Caden Adams, Dawson Chambers, Mason Chambers, Noah Chambers and 2 on the way.

Mrs. Adams is predeceased by her parents James Aurthur and Bunie (Claburn) Laten.

Brother Kenneth Adams will conduct the Funeral Service from the Chapel of Snead Funeral Home Thursday, May 10, 2012 with interment in the Brooksville Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation for Mrs. Adams will be Thursday for 12 noon until funeral time.

Pallbearers will be Wade Adams, Shawn Adams, Clifford Adams. Anthony Chambers, Keith Chambers, and Danny Chambers.
