Etrulia 'Trudy' Gibbs Sharbutt, age 80 of Horton, passed away Friday, April 26, 2024 at her residence.

She is survived by her nieces- Susan (David) Campbell, Lori Fleming, Rhonda Reeves, and Lesa (Glen) Hunter; brother-in-law – ML Shelton; nephew – Melvin Foss; great niece – Misty (Keith) Howell; great nephews – Matthew Fleming and Jimmy (Vanessa) Campbell; great-great nieces and nephew – Haleigh, Hannah and Jacob Howell; stepsons – Mark Sharbutt and Steve (Wendy) Sharbutt.

Mrs. Sharbutt is preceded in death by her husband – Doug Sharbutt; parents – Floyce 'Doc' and Elva Gibbs; sister – Julia Shelton; brother – Delmas Gibbs; nephews – Johnie Reeves and Rick Latta; great great niece – Juliann Howell; stepson – Charles Sharbutt.

Brother Mark Jones, Brother Keith Howell, and Brother Michael Brogdon will conduct the Funeral Service on Monday, April 29, 2024 at 11:00 AM at The Chapel of The Snead Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends, at Snead Funeral Home, on Sunday from 5:30 PM until 7:30 PM and on Monday from 10:00 AM until Funeral Time.

Pallbearers will be – Melvin Foss, Michael Alvis, Nicky Shelton, Boyd Brown, Wesley Slaton, and Lamar Hamby.
