Mr. Troy Howard Moorer, better known as Catfish, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2015 at the age of 78.

Troy is survived by his children Brenda Frias (Alfredo) of Oneonta, Tommy Moorer of Rosa, Julie Moorer of Morris, Lynne Chandler (Richard) of Oneonta, and LaKota Moorer (Drake Jones) of Snead; 12 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, and special friend Kaye Moorer of Susan Moore.

Catfish is preceded in death by his parents Herbert Howard and Laura Washburn Moorer and siblings Geraldine Longshore, Jane Adamson, and LeRoy Moorer.

Haskel Adamson and Randy Hale will conduct the funeral service on Saturday, March 7, 2015 @ 11am at the Chapel of Snead Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Green's Chapel Cemetery. Mr. Moorer will lie in state at Snead Funeral Home on Saturday from 10am until funeral time.

Pallbearers will be Jamie Robertson, Jonathan Moorer, Christopher Quick, Tommy Hollon, Jeff Nelson, and Jimmy Jones.
