Mr. Troy Earl Meade of Snead, Alabama, passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2013 at Cullman Regional Medical Center. He was 84 years old.

Mr. Meade is survived by his wife: Velma Sue Meade and a host of family and friends.

Brother Jimmy Haymaker, Brother Dale Murray, Brother Mike Painter, and Brother Dan Godwin will conduct the funeral service on Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 3:00pm at The Chapel of Snead Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Mr. Meade will Lie In State at Snead Funeral Home on Saturday from 2:00pm until funeral time.

Pallbearers will be: Roger Davis, James Mead, Donnie Thomas, Jimmy Lee Mead, M.C. Davis, and Charles Wayne Brooks.

Honorary Pallbearers will be: Jerry Clowdus, Gary Vaughn, and Steve Symth.

Mr. Meade is predeceased by his parents: James and Annie Belle (McCutchen) Mead, 9 brothers, and 4 sisters.

Mrs. Meade would like to thank Mr. Meade's caretakers Darlene Mead and M.C. Davis for the outstanding service they provided.
