Mr. Timothy Scott Battles, age 46 of Altoona, AL., passed away Friday, September 16, 2016 at his residence.

Mr. Battles is survived by his wife - Tracy LaRue Battles of Altoona; his daughter and daughter-in-law - Heather and Amber Battles of Hanceville; his son - Kyle Battles of Altoona; his granddaughter - Kaydence Battles of Hanceville; his parents - Larry and Bobbie Battles of Oneonta; his brother and sister-in-law - Steve and Kim Battles of Oneonta; his brother and sister-in-law - Carl and Brooke Battles; his grandmother - Irene Battles; his nephews - Blake Battles and Karson Battles; his nieces - Patelyn Battles and Addison Battles; and his parents-in-law - Frank and Gail LaRue.

He is preceded in death by his grandfather - Pharon Battles; his grandfather - Joe King; and his grandmother - Beulah King.

Bro. Curtis Hawkins will conduct the funeral service Saturday, September 17, 2016 at 3:00pm at The Chapel of the Snead Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Oakhill Cemetery. Mr. Battles will lie in repose at Snead Funeral Home Saturday from 1:00pm until funeral time.

Dale Neely, Quaid Anderson, Joey King, Randy Bynum, Tony Bailey, and Jimmy Wood will serve as pallbearers. Steve Battles and Carl Battles will serve as honorary pallbearers.
