Mrs. Thelma Louise (Kornegay) Long, age 98 of Snead, AL passed away Friday, October 13, 2023 at Diversicare in Oneonta.

She is survived by her son – Lee Long; grandchildren – Luke Floyd (Kourtney), and Kelly Fortson (Tommy); great grandchildren – Kaila Kester (Kyle), August Floyd, Jaiden Pennington, Lanie Floyd, and Trey Floyd; great-great grandson – Carson Kester; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Mrs. Long is preceded in death by her husband – Oran Long; son – Lonnie Long; daughter-in-law – Bonita Long; parents – James Homer and Thelma Louise (Thompson) Long; and siblings – Bessie Lindsey, Rufus Kornegay, Roscoe Kornegay, Jim Kornegay, Bill Kornegay, Ann Thomas, Bobbie Debter, Bo Kornegay, and John Wayne Kornegay.
Brother Bric Latham, Luke Floyd, and Kelly Fortson will conduct the Funeral Service on Tuesday, October 17, 2023 at 1:00 PM at The Chapel of The Snead Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Antioch Cemetery in Snead. The family will receive friends, at Snead Funeral Home, Tuesday from 11:30 AM until Funeral Time.

Pallbearers will be – Verbon Lindsay, Jimmy Kornegay, Greg Thomas, James Debter, Scott Kornegay, and Mitch Kornegay.
