Mrs. Thelma Elrod, age 71 of Altoona, AL., passed away Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at her residence.

She is survived by her husband - Michael Elrod of Altoona, AL., her daughter - Frances Shelton of Altoona, AL., her son - Harold Shelton of Snead, AL., her son - Skylar Elrod of Altoona, AL., her grandchildren - Michael and Sam Miller, Matthew and Jasmine Shelton, Ethan McKee, Randall Thomason, Jesse and Shona Shelton, and Justin and Tiffany Shelton, 12 great grandchildren, and her sister - WilloDean and Billy Joe Vaughan of Brooksville, AL.

She is preceded in death by her daughter - Renea Shelton, her parents - Ernest T. and Frances (Wallace) Floyd, her brothers - Wilburn Floyd and James David Floyd and her sisters - Betty Sue Floyd and Patricia Ellenburg.

Graveside Memorial Services will be announced by Snead Funeral Home when they are completed.
