Mr. Tennon Byrd passed away Sunday, December 22, 2013 at his Walnut Grove residence at the age of 69.

Mr. Byrd is survived by his wife; Carolyn McDonald Byrd, his daughter; Robin Ishee of Walnut Grove, grandchildren; Tyler Windham and wife Lydia of Mississippi, Tanner Windham and wife Julie of Mississippi, and Taylor Ishee of Walnut Grove, sisters; Dorothy Moore of Mississippi and Patsy Hawks and husband Thomas of Georgia, and a Host of Nieces and Nephews.

Brother Dan Godwin will conduct funeral service Saturday, December 28, 2013 at 11 A.M. at the Chapel of Snead Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Altoona - Walnut Grove Cemetery. Mr. Byrd will Lie In State, at Snead Funeral Home, Friday from 5:30 P.M. until 8 P.M. and Saturday from 8:30am until funeral time.

Pallbearers will be: Dean Moody, Ryan Moody, Randy Hawks, Jake Kyzar, Anthony Moody, Randy Daniels, Tommy Satterthwaite and Tyler Windham.

Mr. Byrd is predeceased in death by his son: Michael Byrd and his parents: Tennon David and Julia Elizabeth (Broadhead) Byrd.
