Mr. Sonny Boy Brumbalow, age 65 of Douglas, passed away on Friday, December 26, 2014 at his residence.

Mr. Brumbalow is survived by his son Sonny Lynn Brumbalow of Florence; 1 grandson; his siblings Wilmar & Helen Brumbalow of Douglas, George Ed & Charlotte Brumbalow of Altoona, and Shirley Wilson of Douglas. He is also survived by a host of nieces and nephews.

Sonny is preceded in death by his daughter Wendy Annette Bellew; his parents George Asbury & Lillie Mae Bowlin Brumbalow; and his siblings James Albert Brumbalow, Alton Brumbalow, Louis Brumbalow, Elsie Greggs, Dorothy Fountain, and Billy Jo Rhodes.

Brother Don Garrison and Brother Larry Holley will conduct the funeral service @ 11:00am on Monday, December 29, 2014 at the Chapel of Snead Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery. Mr. Brumbalow will lie in state at Snead Funeral Home on Sunday from 5:30pm until 8:00pm and on Monday from 8:30am until funeral time.

Pallbearers will be Lonnie Floyd, Shane Engeron, Doug Knight, Bruce Sims, Wendell Sims, Ricky Blackman, Wade Henderson, and Mac Henderson.
