Mrs. Shirley Jean (Goble) Melcher, age 78 of Walnut Grove, passed away Monday, June 20, 2022 at St. Vincent's East.

Mrs. Melcher is survived by her children – Kelly Mitchell, Denise Tolbert, David Mitchell (Alicia), Wayne Melcher (TI), Rhonda Wolff, and MaLisa LeSueur (Jack); grandchildren – Crystal Shirley (Sean), Nicholas Tolbert, Johnny Wayne Melcher (Kristin), Anna Wolff, Landon Wolff, Elizabeth Barnett, Eli Barnett, Kaydie LeSueur, Mike Maddox, Danny Maddox, and Charlie Maddox; 13 great grandchildren; 3 great-great grandchildren; and siblings – Linda Joyce Hilburn (Max) and Michael Anthony Goble.

Mrs. Melcher is preceded in death by her husband – Johnny B. Melcher; parents – Coy Verbon and Ruby Pauline (Lindsay) Goble; and siblings – Arnold Verbon Goble and Terry Ronald Goble.

Brother Roger Waggoner will conduct the Funeral Service on Saturday, June 25, 2022 at 12:00 PM at The Chapel of The Snead Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery in Old Snead. Mrs. Melcher will Lie In Repose, at Snead Funeral Home, Saturday from 11:00 AM until Funeral Time.

Pallbearers will be family and friends.
