Mrs. Sherri Ann Laughlin Ashley, age 60 of Snead, AL., passed away Monday, February 18, 2019.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law – Chad and Marie Thompson of Trussville, AL., her son and daughter-in-law – Brandon and Emily Thompson of Nags Head, NC, her grandchildren – Melanie Anne Thompson, Blake Edward Thompson, and Ella Thompson, her parents – Edward and Mary Ann Laughlin of Snead, AL., the father of her children – Kenneth E. Thompson of Trussville, AL., and her special friend – Greg Laughlin of Snead, AL.

Mrs. Ashley is preceded in death by her grandparents – Elmo and Golden Laughlin and Herbert and Lois Jackson, and her aunt – Martha Lockhart.

Brother David Socha and Brother Keith Smith will conduct the Funeral Service on Sunday, February 24, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of The Snead Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Ebenezer Cemetery.  Mrs. Ashley will Lie In Repose, at Snead Funeral Home, Sunday from 12 (noon) until Funeral Time.

Pallbearers will be – Chad Thompson, Brandon Thompson, Kenneth Thompson, Cody Cooper, Greg Laughlin, and Matt Shelton.
