Ms. Shelby Jean Gay Graveman, age 78 of Douglas, Alabama, passed away on Thursday, February 13, 2025 at her residence.  Shelby was born on September 5, 1946 to Earnie and Pearlena Oden Gay in Cullman, Alabama. She is preceded in death by her parents; her granddaughter, Josephine Graveman; and her brother, Bobby Gay.

Ms. Graveman is survived by her children, Zondra Patterson (Tom), Andy Graveman (Abby), and Monica Payne (Ted); her grandchildren, Lily Patterson, Christian Patterson, Caleb Patterson, Olivia Patterson, Lauren Patterson, Emma Faulkner, S.J. Graveman, Oliver Graveman, Grayson Graveman, Carson Graveman, Peyton Payne, and Parker Payne; her siblings, Sherry Siclari (Howie), Roland Gay (Susan), Thurston Gay (Marie), and her sister-in-law, Mary Gay.

Funeral Service will be held Sunday, February 16, 2025 at 4:00pm at Snead Funeral Home.  The family will begin receiving friends at Snead Funeral Home on Sunday at 3:00pm.  Snead Funeral Home is humbled to serve the Graveman Family!
