Mrs. Shelby Jean Eller-Smalley, age 67 of Boaz, passed away Thursday, August 9, 2012 at Marshall Medical Center South.

Mrs. Smalley was born June 22, 1945 to Hershell C. and Jewell B. (Compton) Eller. She was a homemaker and a member of Howelton Church God.

She is survived by her children; Phillip and Stephanie Landrum of Mtount Hebron, Deanna and Keith Gaskin of Mount Hebron, and Jennifer and Lee Townsel of Boaz; grandchildren; Heather Gaskin, Tanya Gaskin, Blake Landrum, Amber Wilson, and Jacob Wilson, siblings; Carolyn and Tony Phillips of Old Snead, Bill and Sarah Eller of Old Snead, and Patsy Eller of Boaz.

Mrs. Smalley is going home to meet her husband; Emmett Smalley, grandson; Joshuah Caleb Wilson, and her parents; Hershell C and Jewell B. (Compton) Eller.

Brother Bobby Bright will conduct the Funeral Service for Mrs. Smalley on Sunday, August 12, 2012 at 2 P.M. from the Chapel of Snead Funeral Home with Interment in Bethel Church Cemetery. Mrs. Smalley will Lie In State at SFH Saturday from 5:30 P.M. until 8 P.M. and Sunday from 8:30 until Funeral Time.

Pallbearers will be Daniel Childress, David Gilley, Jimmy Wilson, Damon Dempsey, Michael Duke, Justin O'Dell, Kody Heard, Travis Ferrell, Mack Burke, and Dewayne Sherrod.
