Ms. Sharlyne L. Mumford, age 71 of Altoona, passed away Tuesday, August 1, 2023 at St. Vincent's East Hospital in Birmingham.

She is survived by her sister - Melinda Oden (A.J. "Junior") and Robert E. Breton (Sally); and a host of nieces and nephews.

Ms. Mumford is preceded in death by her parents - Robert Edward and Frances (Remington) Breton; siblings - Tim Breton and Melanee Breton; and grandparents - Mr. and Mrs. Breton and Mr. and Mrs. Remmington.

The family would like to express a sincere thanks to special niece Tammy Stephenson and the Staff of Altoona Health and Rehab for all the loving care that was given to Ms. Mumford.

Ms. Mumford wished to be cremated and the family has planned a Memorial Service for Saturday, August 12, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Altoona Health and Rehab.
