Mrs. Sandra Jean Moody, age 65 of Blountsville, passed away Friday, August 17, 2012 at St. Vincent's Hospital in Birmingham.

Mrs. Moody was born December 7, 1946 to Falve Frances and Geneva (Rogers) Ratliff, she was a member of Royal Church and was loved by all who knew her.

She is survived by her children; Daniel Howard Moody (Tammy) of Guntersville, Sandra Darlene Moody of Crossville, Nancy Ann Allred (Edward) of Blountsville, Mattie Louise Moody of Blountsville, Jerri Moody Branham (Chris) of Blountsville, and Sonny James Moody of Blountsville, 10 Grandchildren, and siblings; Annette Collins (Verbon) of Altoona, Sue Brewster of Altoona, and Judy Hyatt (Tony) of Oneonta.

Mrs. Moody is going home to meet her parents; Flave Frances and Geneva (Rogers) Ratliff, brothers; Terry Ratliff and Timothy Ratliff and 2 infant siblings.

Brother Chris Calvert will conduct the Funeral Service on Monday, August 20, 2012 at 11 A.M. from the Chapel of Snead Funeral Home, with Interment in Mt Moriah Cemetery. Mrs. Moody will Lie In State Sunday from 5:30 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and Monday from 8:30 A.M. until Funeral Time.

Pallbearers will be Edward Allred, Lee Thomason, Felicia Moody, Gordon Collins, Ricky Glass, Cody Glass, Shawn Duncan, Jackie Hill, and Dalton Thomason.
