Mrs. Sandra Dale Francis, age 62 of Susan Moore, passed away on Thursday, February 19, 2015 at St. Vincent East Hospital.

Mrs. Francis was known as Aunt Sandy by many and loved by all. Sandy was a loving and caring person that went above and beyond her calling to help everyone that she could possibly help. She loved her family and was a mother figure to all her nieces and nephews. Sandy left a special place in the hearts of everyone she touched and will greatly be missed by all.

Sandra is survived by her daughter Sharon Sheppard (Mickey) of Blountsville; grandchildren Heather Knue of Snead, Blake Sheppard of Blountsville, Kaydale Floyd (Luke) of Blountsville, and Matthew Francis of Susan Moore; Sister-in-law Doris Francis of Susan Moore, sister-in-law Donna Hill of Susan Moore, sister-in-law Beatrice Perze (Basilio) of Ashville, sister-in-law Mary Francis of Blountsville, and brother-in-law Noah Francis of Georgia.

Mrs. Francis is preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Francis; her mom Mrytle Smith Allred and her dad Luke Allred.

Funeral Service for Mrs. Francis will be held on Monday, February 23, 2015 @ 1:00pm at the Chapel of Snead Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Antioch Cemetery on Straight Mountain. Mrs. Francis will lie in state at Snead Funeral Home on Sunday from 5:30pm until 8:00pm and Monday from 8:30am until funeral time.

Pallbearers will be Heath Hathcock, Chris Branham, Mat Branham, Chad Haynes, Timmy Francis, Mickey Sheppard, Donnie Francis, and Scott Duncan.
