Mrs. Ruth Ellen Gilmore, age 70 of the Straight Mountain Community of Oneonta, AL., passed away Thursday, November 5, 2020 at St. Vincent's Hospital.

She is survived by her daughter – Nora Daily Huggins of Straight Mountain; son – William Mickle of Locust Fork, AL., daughter – Joy Craig of Georgia; grandchildren – Amanda Moliterno (Joe), Jessica Pass (Brent), Fancey Alexander, Jacob Daily, Kelsey Farmer, Scott Mickle, Dylan Mickle, Destiny Craig, and Kaylee Craig; great grandchildren – Parker Thompson, Leighton Thompson, Ella Ferrara, Mason Pass, Murphy Pass, Tucker Alexander, Tylan Alexander, and Kash Sisson; god daughter – Cindy Gilmore-Brisbin; siblings – Jorja Graves, David Marshall and Paul Marshall; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Gilmore is preceded in death by her husband – William Gilmore; granddaughter – Chelsea Mickle; parents – Howard and Ruth Geraldine (Gipson) Marshall; sister – Janie Marshall; and sisters-in-law – Mary Marshall and Carrie Marshall.

Brother Bob Milton will conduct the Memorial Service on Saturday, November 14, 2020 at 1:00 PM at Union Hill Church of The Nazarene of Straight Mountain. Interment will follow in the adjoining cemetery. The family will receive friends, at the church, Saturday from 12:00 PM until service time.
