Mrs. Ruby Hudson, age 85 of Horton, passed away Sunday, March 5, 2017 at Marshall Medical Center South in Boaz.

She is survived by her daughter and son in law - Peggy and Henry Pate of Horton, AL; grandchildren - Julie and Shelby McMahon of Auburn, GA, Rachel and Richard Duncan of Redding, UK, and Jason Pate of Horton, AL; great-grandchildren - Cody McMahon of Auburn, GA, Chase McMahon of Auburn, GA, Ethan Duncan of Redding, UK and Jack Duncan of Redding, UK; and brother and sister in law - Robert and Martha Berry of Arab, AL.

She is preceded in death by her husband - Troy Hudson; great-granddaughters - Alexa Belle McMahon and Phoebe Rose Duncan; parents - Silas G. and Opal (St. John) Berry; brothers - Grady S. Berry and Eugene Berry.

Brother Randy Burtram will conduct the funeral service on Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at 1:00 PM in the Chapel of The Snead Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery. Mrs. Hudson will lie in repose, at Snead Funeral Home, Wednesday from 11:00 AM until service time.

Pallbearers will be Jerry Woodard, Gary Jessen, and Gary Marsh.
