Mr. Mayo is survived by his Son and Daughter-In-Law, Danny and Phyllis Mayo; Son and Daughter-In-Law Jimmy and Linda Mayo; Daughter and Son-In-Law, Patricia and Gary Cornelius.

Grandchildren, Dana & Curtis Hawkins, Felicia & Bill Dingler, Jody & Michelle Mayo, Daniel & DeAnn Mayo, Amy & Jason Smith, Craig Cornelius & girlfriend Alichia Killough.

Great-Grandchildren, Brandon Hawkins, Kasey Hawkins, Madison Mayo, Marshall Mayo and Ethan Smith.

Sister - Myra Jo Criswell, Brother and Sister-In-Law - Billy Max & Jean Mayo, and Brother - Ronald Mayo.

Mr. Mayo is preceded in death by his wife of 49 years, Polly Mayo, parents - LeRoy & Verna Mayo; and sister - Maurine Waldrop.

Brother Curtis Hawkins and Brother Larry Holley conducted Funeral Service at Ten O'Clock on Saturday, June 5, 2010, in The Chapel of Snead Funeral Home. Mr. Mayo was laid to rest in the Douglas Cemetery.

Visitation was held at Snead Funeral Home.

Pallbearers were Brandon Hawkins, Daniel Mayo, Craig Cornelius, Bill Dingler, Jody Mayo, and Jason Smith.

Honorary Pallbearers were Marshall Mayo and Ethan Smith
