Mrs. Rossie Annalee Wood, age 88 of the Friday's Crossing Community of Susan Moore, passed away Wednesday, March 19, 2014 at St. Vincent's Blount.

Mrs. Wood is survived by her daughters:
Myra Pierce of Susan Moore, Margaret Wood of Susan Moore, Judy Lowery of Oneonta, Becky (Morris) Dyer of Susan Moore, Frances Wood of Susan Moore, and Jennifer (Randy) Clayburn of Loncoln.

Grandchildren:  Nick Dyer, Richard Dyer, Dillon Dyer, Laura (Shon) Cook, Elizabeth (Chad) Conn, Kristi (Jason) Mitchell, Kara Annalee Jarrett, Katelynn Jarrett, Amy Sherie (Bob) West, Sarah Paige Clayburn, Kaylee Ann Clayburn, Brandi Self, Stephen Wood, and Ashley Wood.

Great-Grandchildren: Nicholas Dyer, Dani Morrison, Abbey Dyer, Hunter Boswell, Aubrey Boswell, Colbie Cook, Robert Self, Anthony Wood, Susie Self, and Brooke Wood.

Brother Curtis Hawkins and Brother Steve Bush will conduct the 1 P.M. funeral service from the Graveside at Mt. Moriah Cemetery, with Snead Funeral Home directing.  Mrs. Wood will Lie In State, at Snead Funeral Home, Friday from 10:30 A.M. until 12:30 P.M.

Pallbearers will be Morris Dyer, Nick Dyer, Richard Dyer, Dillon Dyer, Randy Clayburn, Chad Conn, Jason Mitchell, and Stephen Wood.

Mrs. Wood is preceaded in death by her husband: Aubrey P. Wood, her son: Tommy Wood, her grandsons: Jason Pierce and Paul Pierce, her parents: Luther Thomas and Eulas Mae (Jackson) Thrasher, and her siblings: Holbert Thrasher, Evelyn McRay, Wynola Hudson, Ted Thrasher, Dean Thrasher, Lilyen Goble, Peggy Alldredge, Billy Thrasher and Byron Thrasher.
