Mr. Ronald Wayne NeSmith, age 58 of the McClarty Community of Horton, AL., passed away Tuesday, June 4, 2019 at Shephard's Cove Hospice.

Mr. NeSmith was a 1980 graduate of Susan Moore High School and a Deacon of Pleasant View Missionary Baptist Church.  He served his country in The United States Air Force for 9 years; during that time he was Support Of Operation Desert Shield/Storm.  His last employer was CSC Works in Pelham.  His greatest love was being a husband, father, and grandfather.

He is survived by his wife – Brenda NeSmith of McClarty; his son – Dr. Adam NeSmith (Meagan Scott) of Boaz, AL.; his daughter – Amie Hart (Chris) of Snead, AL.; his grandson – Blakely Ray Hart; his granddaughter – Brynlee Jo Hart; and his mother – Willene NeSmith of Oneonta, AL.

Mr. NeSmith is preceded in death by his father – Max NeSmith; his brother – Gary NeSmith; and his sisters – Donna Sundberg and Patricia King.

Brother Randy Burtram and Brother Robbie Burtram will conduct the Funeral Service on Thursday, June 6, 2019 at 11:00 AM from The Chapel of The Snead Funeral Home.  Interment will follow in Pleasant Grove Cemetery.  Mr. NeSmith will Lie In Repose, at Snead Funeral Home, Wednesday from 5:30 PM until 8:00 PM.

Pallbearers will be – Joe Holmes, Greg Thomas, Justin Thomas, Frank Lang, Joe Fountain, and Alan Kirby.

Honorary Pallbearer will be – Blakely Ray Hart.
