Robin G. Duncan, age 60, passed away on March 23, 2026.
Robin was a woman full of life, love, and imagination. She had a giving heart and found true joy in making others happy. She loved to laugh, to have a good time, and to bring light into every life she touched.
She was never boring—she was vibrant, fun, and could talk for hours, sharing stories from her life with anyone who would listen.
As a child, Robin was shy, but as she grew, she blossomed into someone full of personality, warmth, talent, and creativity. She loved a good book and had a beautiful imagination, often lost in make-believe, especially when spending time with her grandchildren. Those moments—painting, crafting, and creating memories—were some of her most cherished. She felt deeply connected to the earth and found peace in nature.
Robin was born in New Jersey and later graduated high school in Fennville, Michigan. She met her loving husband in Alabama and built a life rooted in love and family. Alabama became her home, where she lived for over 25 years.
Robin had a deep love for life’s simple joys. She loved camping, motorcycles, nature walks, and the beach. She found happiness in dancing, laughter, and being surrounded by the people she loved. She was a fan of Star Wars, enjoyed cooking shows, and made some of the best homemade biscuits.
She took great pride in her family. Her greatest joy in life was her children and grandchildren. She shared love and life with her husband in Altoona, Alabama, where she called home.
There will never be another like you, Mom. I will carry you with me every day of my life.
She is survived by her loving husband, Allen Duncan, who stood by her side through every chapter of their shared journey. Robin’s enduring love and dedication to her family were evident in the close bonds she nurtured with her children, Jennifer Harris and Sarah White, as well as her stepchildren, Christopher Duncan and Jessica Duncan. Her legacy continues through her many grandchildren: Chandler, Hope, Christian, Noah, Jayce, Lilly, Troy, Thomas, Zelda, Aleah, Zayn, and Trinity, each of whom carried a special light reflecting Robin’s warmth and generosity.
Robin also leaves behind her sisters, Bonnie Hale, Sharon Hutchens, Laura De Jose, and Stacey Sheets, whose lives she enriched with her heartfelt companionship and enduring support. The love they shared stands as a testament to the strength of family ties that Robin held dear.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John Spencer and Arnice Mason Spencer, whose memories remained close to her heart.
Services to honor and remember Robin will be held at Snead Funeral Home. The visitation will take place on March 30, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m., followed immediately by the funeral service from 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. Those wishing to pay their final respects are invited to attend.
Following the service, Robin will be laid to rest at Bristow Cove Cemetery. The burial will begin at 1:00 p.m. and continue until 2:00 p.m.
Robin G. Duncan’s life was one marked by love, kindness, and devotion to family. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew her, providing comfort and inspiration in the days ahead. Those who loved Robin will cherish her gentle spirit and the lasting imprint she leaves behind.
“Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me… Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.” — Psalm 23:4, 6
