Mr. Rickey A. Blackmon, age 67 of Blountsville, AL., passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2018 at his residence.

He is survived by his wife – Joyce A. Blackmon of Blountsville, AL., his daughter and son-in-law – Amanda and Ronnie Hansard of Blountsville, AL., his grandson – Deshawn Hansard of Blountsville, AL., his granddaughter – Stormie Hansard of Blountsville, AL., his sister – Brenda Nelson of Albertville, AL., his sister – Linda Duke of Albertville, AL., his sister and brother-in-law – Tammy and Michael Chamblee of Douglas, AL., his sister and brother-in-law – Rena and Darrell Sterling of Cleveland, AL., his sister – Julene Griffin of Cleveland, AL., his sister - Ann Sullivan of Locust Fork, AL., and his sister – Kathy Ataway-Melton of Florida, his brother and sister-in-law – Gene and Vickie Blackmon of Berry Mountain, his brother and sister-in-law – Ray and Linda Blackmon of Hog Mountain, his brother and sister-in-law – Charlie and Deb Blackmon of Bear Creek in Guntersville, AL., his brother and sister-in-law – Raymon and Dorothy Higgins of Holly Springs, AL., his brother and sister-in-law – Ronnie and Roberta Higgins of Holly Springs AL., his brother – Rodney Sullivan of Hayden, AL., his brother  – Richard Williams of Douglas, AL., and his brother – Jerry Williams of Royal, AL.

He is preceded in death by his son – David Blackmon, his father – Clem Blackmon and his mother – Doris (Brumalow) Williams.

Brother Nathan Chambers will conduct the Funeral Service on Sunday, May 27, 2018 at 2:00 P.M. in The Chapel of The Snead Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Dailey's Chapel Cemetery.  Mr. Blackmon will lie in repose, at Snead Funeral Home, Saturday from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. until funeral time.

Pallbearers will be - Dakota Roden, Joseph Chamblee, Jason Vaughan, Billy Miller, Matt Stewart, and Danny Blackmon.

Honorary Pallbearers will be - Brenda Nelson and Deshawn Hansard.
