Mr. Richard Goble, of Oneonta, AL., passed away at his residence on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at the age of 71.
Mr. Goble is a Veteran of the United States Army. Richard was a security guard for Janie Terrell at Mtn. Top Flea-market. In his spare time he loved to play bingo. To his nieces and nephews he was the greatest uncle on earth. His best accomplishment in life came on November 12, 2014 when he prayed for Jesus Christ to save his soul.
Richard is survived by his nieces and nephews: Milford & Donna Goble of Oneonta, AL., Jean Bailey of Cullman, AL., Pennie & Donald Bickerstaff of Oneonta, AL., Wendell & Teresa Goble of Attalla, AL., Rose Jacobs of Attalla, AL., Little Richard & Wanda Goble of Mountainboro, AL., Jimmy Goble of Gadsden, AL., Kathy Walker of Attalla, AL., and Peggy & James Oden of Gadsden, AL.
Mr. Goble is preceded in death by his wife Sue Goble; his parents Grady Lee & Fannie Myrtle (Puckett) Goble; his brothers Barny Goble, Charles Goble, Franklin D. Goble, and Milford Eugene Max Goble; and his nephews Johnny Ray Goble and Roger Lamar Goble.
Pennie Bickerstaff will conduct a Graveside Service on Sunday, April 26, 2015 @ 5pm at Carnes Chapel Cemetery.
The service will include the reading of the obituary. Pennie will deliver a eulogy of Mr. Gobles life. Also, the family will sing, "I'll Fly Away", "Amazing Grace", and "Taps". The service will conclude with the United States Honor Guard rendering Military Honors.
