Reverend Kenneth "Joe" Daugette, age 57 of Altoona, passed away Thursday, May 8, 2014 at St. Vincent's East in Birmingham.

He was the Pastor of Whispering Hope Church for 8 years. He was the Co-Founder of Millers Hollow Church and Whispering Hope Church of Boaz. Joe devoted his life to God and his family. He affected many throughout his walk with God. He will be deeply missed by all.

He is survived by his wife of 35 years: Frankie Martin Daugette.

Lawana St. Jean (Jeanty) of Haverhill, MA
Becky Hasan (Adil) of Anniston,
and his favorite child, his dog Scooter.

Travis Baird, Mitchell Gibbs and Todd Epps will conduct the funeral service at 3 P.M. Monday, May 12, 2014 at Walnut Park Bible Based Church. Interment will follow in Hafley Family Cemetery in Altoona. Mr. Daugette will Lie In State, at Walnut Park Bible Based Church, Sunday from 1 P.M. until funeral time.

Pallbearers will be Jason Miller, Richard Miller, Linn Brogdon, Josh Brogdon, Adil Hasan, Jeanty St. Jean, Jeremy Martin, and Harvey Martin III.

Mr. Daugette is preceded in death by his mother: Inez (Smith) Daugette, and his sister: Patricia Hogeland.
