Mrs. Ramona Adelaida De La Rosa, age 72 of Altoona, AL., passed away Wednesday, July 29, 2015 at her residence.

Mrs. De La Rosa is survived by her children: Silvia and Angel Aspeitia of Altoona, AL., Gilbert, Sr. and Sarah Galvan of Blountsville, AL., and Angela and Dale Sheftic of Cullman; her grandchildren: Santina Mascorro, Gilbert Galvan, Jr., Ramona MaQueo, Federico and April Aspeitia, Johnny Galvan, Silvia Perez, Eliana Hays, Amber Cervantes, Michael Sheftic, Jr., Abbigail Sheftic, Cuactemo Galvan, and Geronimo Galvan; her great grandchildren: Silvia Rivera, Amanda Wilson, Aaron Nichols, and Abelardo Aspeitia; her siblings: Lorenzo De La Rosa of Lubbock, Texas, Juan and Linda De La Rosa of San Jose, California, and Maria Resendez of Merced, California; and a host of other family and friends.

Ramona is predeceased by her sons: Juan Galvan, Jr. and Santos Perez; her great grandsons: Tristan Angel Galvan and Mauriceo Rivera; her parents: Cruz and Solia (Rodriquez) De La Rosa; and her siblings: Esther Pizano, Santos Arrelano, Dominga Leal, Petra Felix, Solia De La Rosa, Francisco De La Rosa, Jose De La Rosa, Eucebio De La Rosa, and Cruz De La Rosa.

Memorial Funeral Service will be held Sunday, August 2, 2015 at 12:30pm at Corpus Christi Catholic Church. Visitation is not scheduled. Mrs. De La Rosa has been cremated.
