Mrs. Rachel Gail Harper, age 74 of Oneonta, passed away Saturday, December 29, 2012 at Shepherds Cove Hospice of Marshal County.

Mrs. Harper is survived by her daughter; Lynn and Freddie Hamby of Oneonta, son; Jeff and Sandy Harper of Boaz, grandchildren; Jeffery Harper, Keirston Harper, Lindsay Glenn, and Zachery Davis, great-grandchild; Lexie Glenn, brothers; Tommy and Jean Fox of Boaz, Bob and Brenda Fox of Rogersville, Ben Fox of Boaz, Allen and Donna Fox of Horton, Cary Fox of Powell, and Richard and Gail Fox of Florence, sister; Elaine and Rusty Cook of Pinson.

Brother Ed Engle, Brother Wayne Allcorn and Brother Freddie Hamby will conduct the funeral service on Monday, December 31, 2012 at 11 A.M. in the Chapel of Snead Funeral Home with Interment in Union Grove Cemetery. Mrs. Harper will Lie-In-State Sunday from 5:30 P.M. until 8 P.M. and Monday from 8 A.M. until funeral time.

Pallbearers will be Zachery Davis, Denny Kent, Lynn Gillilan, Doyle Wilemon, Cody Wilemon, and Shannon Mason.

Mrs. Harper is going home to meet her husband; Reverend Denzil Harper, her parents; John H. and Jewel (Childers) Fox, 4 sisters and 3 brothers.
