Obituary

Pauline Marie (Polly) Levien Fulmer Dec. 15, 1938 – Jan. 15, 2026

Polly Fulmer, a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother, went home to be with the Lord Jesus Jan. 15, 2026. Polly was a devoted homemaker most all of her life, and was a secretary and small business owner of a restaurant, prior. She was known for her love, kindness, goodness, gentleness… indeed she overflowed with all the fruits of the Spirit. “The fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith, meekness, temperance: against such there is no law” (Galatians 5:22). Polly was an extremely gentle, loving, and kind soul, as anyone who knew her would attest to.

Polly was born and raised in Marion, OH and enjoyed baking, crocheting, knitting, tending plants and flowers, pets, church, playing cards, and spending time visiting family and friends. She is survived by her loving husband of 56 ½ years Cecil (Sonny) Fulmer and their children: Ronald Fulmer (stepson), Patricia Fulmer Leo (stepdaughter) (Tony), Randall Tarr (Charlotte), Kevin Fulmer (Cammy), and Cindy Fulmer Wooten (Matt). She was a proud grandmother to 10 grandchildren: Christopher Leo, Heath Fulmer (Crystal), Matthew Leo, Tucker Wooten (Morgan), Noah Wooten (Skye), Michael Fulmer, Ashley Fulmer, Christina Fulmer, Cathryn Tarr, and Jennifer Tarr. She was also proud of being a great-grandmother to 3 great-grandchildren: Joshua, Lydia, and Samuel Fulmer. She was also close to and remembered fondly by her nephews Terry McAfee (Bonnie), Chris McAfee (Laura), and Tracy McAfee (Sue).

Polly is preceded in death by her father Orville Levien, mother Hazel Bader Levien, and her sister Corrine Levien McAfee.

Polly’s warmth, kindness, and unwavering devotion to her family will be profoundly missed. The funeral will be held @ Crosshaven Church on Tuesday Jan. 20, 2026 from 12:30-2:00 pm, with no viewing, and there will be a graveside service at 3:00 @ Highrock Cemetery, located at 213-259 Highrock Rd Hayden, AL 35079, across the street from Highrock Methodist Church. Flowers can be sent to Cleveland Funeral Home (17885 State Hwy 160 Cleveland, Alabama). Obituary will be posted @ Snead Funeral Home website (www.sneadfuneralhome.net)
