Mrs. Ovella Lowe Bickerstaff, age 88 of Oneonta, passed away Tuesday, March 28, 2023 at her residence.

She is survived by her children –Donna Kay Goble (Milford), Danny Bickerstaff (Gracie), Thomas Bickerstaff (Judy), Allen Bickerstaff, Billy Bickerstaff (Donna), Donald Ray Bickerstaff (Pennie), Ronald Bickerstaff (Crystal), and Randy Bickerstaff; 27 grandchildren; 54 great grandchildren; 9 great-great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild on the way; daughter-in-law – Sharon Bickerstaff; siblings – Barbara Dobbs, Miriam Kelso (Curtis), William Lee Lowe (Emma), and Martha Blackmon; as well as a host of extended family and friends.

Mrs. Bickerstaff is preceded in death by her husband – Robert Bickerstaff; son – Wayne Bickerstaff; grandsons – Jason Bickerstaff and Daniel Bickerstaff; daughter-in-law – Martha Bickerstaff; parents – Bill and Rilla (Wilson) Lowe; and siblings – James Earl Lowe, Geneva Bellew, and Flora Nell McGill.

Brother Joseph Thomas will conduct the Funeral Service on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at 2:00 PM at The Chapel of The Snead Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Nectar Cemetery.  Mrs. Bickerstaff will Lie In Repose, at Snead Funeral Home, Thursday from 11:00 AM until Funeral Time.

Pallbearers will be – Randy Bickerstaff, William Bickerstaff, Adam Bickerstaff, Chris Bickerstaff, Allen Bickerstaff, Kevin Thomas, Steven Thomas, David Bickerstaff, Nicole Bickerstaff, and Jeff Helton.
