Mrs. Norma Jean Boatwright, 78 of Riverside, Alabama, was born on November 25, 1946, to James Edward and Avio Alldredge Dunn and passed away on June 19, 2025, surrounded by her loving family.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Billie Boatwright; her son, Michael Boatwright; and her parents.

Mrs. Boatwright is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Pam Boatwright; her grandchildren, LaShea and Dani Woube, and Nash Boatwright, her great grandchildren, Lucas Woube, Faith Woube, Brantley Boatwright, and Hudson Boatwright; and her brother and sister-in-law, Layman and Kathie Dunn.

She and her beloved husband, Billie were married for 57 years. He, her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren was her life. She loved them all deeply and made wonderful memories together.

Norma and Billie were members of Harvest Baptist Church, Jonesboro, GA.

Norma worked several years at Blue Bell Apparel and then later in life at Captain D's.

Her passion was to stay at home with her family.

She and Billie were able to take several trips with their cousins, Patsy and Kenneth. They were super close and had the best times together. One being when they went to Hawaii for her and Billie's 50th wedding anniversary where all the family had a wonderful celebration.

Norma was blessed to have her brother, Layman and sister in-law, Kathie, live with them for the past few years and take such good care of her. Their love and sacrifices will always be appreciated.

While Norma will be missed by many, their hearts can be at peace knowing she is with Jesus, Billie, their son, Michael and all the loved ones who have gone on before them.

It's hard to imagine Norma not being here but rejoice in knowing she suffers no more.

Charlie Alldredge will conduct the Funeral Service on Saturday, June 21, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at Snead Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Liberty Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends, at Snead Funeral Home, on Saturday beginning at 1:00 p.m.

Nash Boatwright, Danni Woube, Edwin Young, Heath Gilliam, David Massey, and Bradley Siewart have been asked to serve as Pallbearers with Layman Dunn and Jerrel Ivey as Honorary Pallbearers.
