Mrs. Nellie Jo Collins, age 84 of Snead, AL., passed away Wednesday, February 10, 2016 at Princeton Hospital.

Nellie loved to cook and play on her Ipad. She is survived by her children - Ceceila Jean Mann of Horton, AL., Diane Hamilton of Albertville, AL., Tera Jo and Jason Smith of Snead, AL.; Janice and Ronnie LaRue of Snead, AL., Marlene and Johnny Ingram of Susan Moore, AL., Stanley Collins of Snead, AL., and Steve and Sandie Collins of Snead, AL.; 18 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; her daughter-in-law - Susan Collins of Snead, AL.; and a host of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Collins is preceded in death by her husband - Aubrey Collins; her son - Danny Collins; her son-in-law - Billy Mann; her son-in-law - Mike Hamilton; her parents - Tom and Josie (Skillman) Compton; and her siblings - Jean Battles, Pearl Saye, Birtie Mae Ellison, Alford Compton, and Calvin Compton.

Jeremy Thompson and Curtis Hawkins will conduct the funeral service Sunday, February 14, 2016 at 2:00pm at The Chapel of the Snead Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Nixon Chapel Cemetery. Mrs. Collins will lie in repose at Snead Funeral Home Saturday from 5:30pm until 8:00pm and Sunday from 12(noon) until funeral time.

Cody Collins, Danial Collins, Shawn Collins, Clint Collins, Dawson LaRue, Blake LaRue, and Brayden Collins will serve as pallbearers.
