Mrs. Mozelle Sotherland, age 93 of Horton, AL., passed away December 20, 2017 at Huntsville Hospital.

She is survived by her son – Billy Wayne Sotherland (Dianna Dishman) of Knoxville, TN., her daughter – Wanda Lynn Johns (Randall) of Horton, AL., and her sister – Ima Jewell Black of Orlando, FL., and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Sotherland is preceded in death by her husband – William Nolon Sotherland, her parents – Rufus K. and Nora (Kemp) NeSmith, her siblings – Hubert NeSmith, Issac Max NeSmith, Dwight NeSmith, Vinoy NeSmith, Maxine Copeland, and Mattie Faye Jarrett.

The family will receive friends at Snead Funeral Home on Saturday from 1:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. Brother Glen Stewart will conduct the Funeral Service on Saturday, December 23, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at The Chapel of the Snead Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be – Johnny Mac Copeland, Cale Dennis, Greg Owen, Chris NeSmith, Ronald NeSmith, and Billy Ray Stephens.

Honorary Pallbearer will be – Sherell Jimmerson

Mrs. Sotherland's wish was In Lieu Of Flowers, "Just A Rose Will Do" or donations can be made to Pleasant Grove Cemetery Fund in care of Tim Whitley, 405 Whitley Loop, Horton, AL 35980.
