Mrs. Minnie Mae Waldrop, age 90 from Altoona, passed away Thursday, June 14, 2012 at St. Vincents Blount.

Mrs. Waldrop was born June 31, 1922 to Henry and Lula Mae (Sparks) Grogan.

Mrs. Waldrop is survived by her son; Ronald Wallace and Peggy Waldrop, her daughter; Lynette Banks, grandchildren; Charles Randall Banks, Wallace Rodney Banks, and Dewayne and Vickie Waldrop, 8 Great-Grandchildren, 2 Great-Great Grandchildren, and a Special Friend; Mary Ann Steele.

She is going home to meet her husband; Wallace Marvin Grogan, her parents; Henry and Lula Mae (Sparks) Grogan, 4 sisters and 2 brothers.

Brother Jim Lackey will conduct the Funeral Service from the Graveside at Wynnville Cemetery, with Snead Funeral Home Directing, Saturday, June 16, 2012 at 11 A.M. Mrs. Waldrop will Lie In State at Snead Funeral Home, Saturday from 9 A.M. until Funeral Time.

Pallbearers will be Rodney Banks, Randy Banks, Dewayne Waldrop, Charles Morton, Ronnie Allred and Bud Hillburn.
