Ms. Mildred Jean Sutherland, age 78 of Walnut Grove, AL., passed away Sunday, April 10, 2016 at St. Vincent Blount Hospital.
Mildred is survived by her children - Troy Dee Sutherland of Walnut Grove, AL., Michael Phillip Sutherland of Alabaster, AL., Anthony and Ruth Sutherland of Altoona, AL., and Timothy and Sandra Sutherland of Rainbow City, AL.; her grandchildren - Michealle Sutherland, Mary Weaver, Tina and David Palmer, Jason Sutherland, Cory and Chris Hutcherson, Laura and Chris Hilburn, John Michael Sutherland (Kourtney Ledbetter), and Taylor and Lindsey Sutherland; 17 great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchildren; and her sister - Geraldean Dyer of Walnut Grove, AL.
She is preceded in death by her husband - L.D. Sutherland; her infant son - Danny Ray Sutherland; her dad - John Dennis Haynes and her mom - Verley Nelson Haynes.
Jimmy Dyer and Ennis Stone will conduct the Graveside Funeral Service Wednesday, April 13, 2016 at 11:00am at Bethel Cemetery. Snead Funeral Home Directing.
