Mr. Michael Edward Criswell, age 65 of Susan Moore, passed away Tuesday, January 26, 2021 at his residence.

Mr. Criswell was a Circuit Clerk for Blount County for 26 years until his retirement.  Prior to becoming the Circuit Clerk he had a Law Practice in Snead.

He is survived by his wife – Lori Criswell; sons – Bradley Dunn, Will Criswell, and Stephen Hendrix (Korie); daughter – Margaret Criswell; mother – Margaret Steeley Criswell; siblings – Jimmy Criswell (Nancy), Linda Butler (Mark), Joe Criswell (Debra), and Kim Criswell McAllister; parents-in-law - Jim and Dennis Nell Hammond; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Mr. Criswell is preceded in death by his father – Billie Keith Criswell; and sister – Baby Eugenia Criswell.

Brother Dan Boatman will conduct the Funeral Service on Saturday, January 30, 2021 at 11:00 A.M. at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church.  Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery.  Mr. Criswell will Lie-In-Repose, at Snead Funeral Home on Friday from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. and on Saturday at Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church from 10:00 A.M. until Funeral Time.

Pallbearers will be – Bradley Dunn, Will Criswell, Stephen Hendrix, Jonathan Criswell, Zach McAllister, Evan Priest, Eddie Priest, and Daniel South

Honorary Pallbearers will be - Jimmy Criswell, Joe Criswell, Mike Holmes, Ray Hathorn, Greg Thomas, Mason South, Boone Butler, Stephen Butler, Michael Butler.
