Mrs. Mary Joann (Webb) Dyer, age 79 of Snead, AL., passed away Sunday, December 17, 2017 at Magnolia House Assisted Living in Oneonta, AL.

Mrs. Dyer taught 5th grade for many years at Susan Moore Elementary School.  She loved all of the children she taught and considered it a blessing to be a part of their lives.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law – Gala and John Singleton of Snead, AL.; her granddaughter – Nicole Singleton; her sister and brother-in-law – Linda and Harold Mason of Snead, AL.

Mrs. Dyer is preceded in death by her husband – Huston Dyer; and her parents – J.P and Willie (Whitley) Webb.

Greg Bailey and Quinton Williams will conduct the Funeral Service on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at The Chapel of The Snead Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Bethel Cemetery.  There will be no visitation for Mrs. Dyer.

Pallbearers will be – Benjamin Bancroft, Brad Gillespie, Mason Gillespie, Steve Love, Brad Mason, and Coleman Mason.

Honorary Pallbearers will be – Chase Mason and Andrew Adams.

In Lieu of Flowers the family requests that donations be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital, The Big Oak Ranch, or the charity of your choice.
