Marvin "Hulio" Frachiseur, a beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and cherished member of his community, passed away on March 30, 2026. Born on April 17, 1947, Marvin lived a life filled with passion, love, and adventure that left an indelible mark on all who knew him.
Known affectionately by his road name "Hulio," Marvin was a spirited man who embraced the thrill of the open road. As a retired member of the American Cruiser Motorcycle Club (ACMC), he found boundless joy in riding his motorcycle, feeling the wind and freedom that the highways of Alabama provided. His love for the Alabama Crimson Tide was unwavering, embodying a deep-rooted pride in his state’s cherished traditions. Additionally, Marvin delighted in casino trips, embracing moments of excitement and camaraderie with family and friends.
His family was the cornerstone of his life. Marvin was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Myra Frachiseur; his son, John Frachiseur; his parents, Marvin Cline Frachiseur and Nellie Jo Frachiseur; and his sisters, Brenda Frachiseur and Debra Frachiseur. Though these beloved family members have journeyed before him, their memories live on in the hearts of those who loved them.
Surviving Marvin are his cherished sons, David Frachiseur and Paul Frachiseur, who carry forward his legacy with pride and love. He was a proud grandfather to Kent, Jessye, Nathan, Krista, Kailey, Marrissa, Dennis, and Bethany, and a joyful great-grandfather to seven beloved great-grandchildren. His siblings and extended family also remain by his side, including his sister Janice Pate and her husband Joe; niece Farrah Parsley and her husband Jonathan; and nephew Wesley Pate and his wife Lauren. Marvin’s significant other, Faye Wilson, stood as a steadfast companion and source of love in his later years.
Marvin’s impact extended beyond family to friends who respected and admired his generous spirit. Among those who paid tribute to him as pallbearers were Kent Frachiseur, Nathan Frachiseur, Dennis Frachiseur, Wesley Pate, Jonathan Parsley, and Austin Dobbins. Honorary pallbearers included Curtis Perry, Randall Perry, and Joe Pate, all reflecting the deep community bonds Marvin fostered through his kindness and zest for life.
Visitation will be held at the Snead Funeral Home, on April 1, 2026, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM, and again on April 2, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
