Obituary
Mrs. Martha Irene (Kilpatrick) Gilam, age 91 of Snead, AL., passed away Tuesday, August 22, 2017 at her residence.
Irene was a member of Snead First United Methodist Church . She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law - Joan and Roy Wadkins; granddaughter and husband - Sherrie and Tony Hall; and a host of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband - William Oren Gilam; her parents - Robert David Kilpatrick and Mary Verna Holland Kilpatrick; 4 brothers - Verbon, Lee, Claude, and Donald; 2 sisters - Alma Dean Garner and Robbie Lee Irvin.
Her family would like to thank the staff of Alacare Home Health and Hospice for the outstanding care they have given to the family.
Brother Keith Smith and Brother Bric Latham will conduct the Funeral Service on Friday, August 25, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at Snead First United Methodist Church. Interment will follow at Douglas Cemetery. Mrs. Gilam will lie in repose, as Snead Funeral Home, Thursday from 5:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Friday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:15 p.m.
