Mrs. Martha D. (McClendon) Bickerstaff, age 58 of Snead, AL, passed away Friday, October 4, 2019 at her residence.

She is survived by her husband – Allen Bickerstaff of Snead, AL; her son – Steve Bickerstaff (Amber) of Snead, AL; her daughter – Jennifer Thomas (Dale) of Snead, AL; her grandchildren – Steven Thomas, Kevin Thomas, Anna Evatt, Sarah Evatt, and Ashley Thomas; her siblings – Jerome McClendon, Doris Moody, Barbara (Buddy) Bowen, Gaynell (Clarence) Smoot, Linda Sue Yancey, and Coy McClendon; as well as a host of nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Bickerstaff is preceded in death by her parents – Harvey and Dora (Huffstutler) McClendon; and her brothers – Robert Huffstutler and Jerry McClendon.

Brother Jerry Thomas and Brother Wes Lowery will conduct the Funeral Service on Sunday, October 6, 2019 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of The Snead Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Mount Ebell Cemetery.  Visitation will be Saturday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM and Sunday from 12 (noon) until Funeral Time.

Pallbearers will be – Dalton Gilliland, Ray Byrd, Albert Rose, William Bickerstaff, Lee Goble, Tony Pippin and Blake Skaggs.
