Mr. Marlin Mancil Poole, age 73 of The McClarty Community, passed away Monday, March 30, 2020 at Shepherds Cove Hospice in Albertville.

Mr. Poole worked for Republic Steel in Gadsden for 20 years and owned a stone mason company before his retirement but his greatest love of his family.  He also enjoyed old cars and his car club.  He was loved by all and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife - Shelia Poole of The McClarty Community; his daughter and son-in-law - Shonda and Gary Wall of The McClarty Community; his son - Creig Poole of The McClarty Community; his grandchildren - Jessica Wall, Savannah Poole and Garrett Poole; his mother - Opal Poole of Snead; his siblings - Gary Poole (Barbara) of The Williams Settlement Community, Rita Hegenheiser (Armin) of Snead, and Steve Poole (Telitha) of Snead; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family, and friends.

Mr. Poole is preceded in death by his father - Ezra Poole.

Brother Robbie Burtram conducted the Funeral Service on Wednesday, April 1, 2020 at 1:00 PM at the Graveside at Pleasant Grove Cemetery.  There was no visitation.

There will be a private family service.
