Ms. Margie D. Yancey, 77 of Horton, Alabama, was born on November 09, 1947, to Henry Burden and Gladys (Monroe) Walker and passed away on August 01, 2025, at her residence. She is preceded in death by her husband, Jim Yancey; her parents; and her siblings, Robert Walker, Rickey Walker, Billy Walker, Nelda Freeman, Glenda Woods, Mavelyn McIntosh, and Marilyn White.

Ms. Yancey is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Mark and Minnie Yancey; her grandchildren, Christian Phelps, Jason Basham, Jr., and Gracie Ulmer; her great grandchildren, Gabriel Phelps and Alex Phelps; and her brothers; Coyce Walker, Marlin Walker, and Larry Walker.

Visitation for Ms. Yancey will be on Sunday, August 03, 2025, at Snead Funeral Home, from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm.  There will not be a Funeral Service.
