Mrs. Margaret Gail LaRue, age 71 of Altoona, AL., passed away Saturday, April 15, 2017 at her residence.

Mrs. LaRue is survived by her husband - Frank LaRue of Altoona; her daughter - Tracy Battles of Altoona; her granddaughter and wife - Heather and Amber Battles of Hanceville; her grandson - Kyle Battles of Altoona; her great granddaughter - Kaydence Battles of Hanceville; her sister - Phyllis Mayo of Altoona; her sister - Ruth Ray of Boaz; and her brother and sister-in-law - Bill and Jean Davis of Douglas.

She is preceded in death by her son-in-law - Tim Battles; her father - Eston Davis; her mother - Bernice Davis Hamby; her brother - Gwin Davis; and her brother - Jim Davis.

Graveside Funeral Service will be held Monday, April 17, 2017 at 2:00pm at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery. Mrs. LaRue will lie in repose at Snead Funeral Home on Monday from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m.

Quaid Anderson, Brandon Hawkins, Bill Dingler, Doug Holmes, Gary Melcher, and Kyle Battles will serve as pallbearers. Dale Neely will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
