Mr. Mackie Earl Whittington, 75 of the Wilson's Chapel Community of Oneonta, Alabama, was born on January 18, 1950, to Edward L.V. and Leona Allred Whittington and passed away on September 1, 2025. He is preceded in death by wife, Sharon Whittington; his parents; and his siblings, Dorothy Alexander, James Whittington, and Alton Whittington.

Mr. Whittington is survived by his children, Christy Whittington, Kerrie Miller, and Eric Tuck; his grandchildren, Nathan, Morgan, Ciyeva, Jada, Peyton, Devin, Bailey, and Connor; and his 4 great grandchildren.

Sister Melissa Holmes will conduct the Funeral Service on Friday, September 5, 2025, at 12:00 PM at Snead Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Wynnville Cemetery. The family will receive friends, at Snead Funeral Home, on Friday beginning at 10:00 AM.

Steve Stockton, Devin Garrett, Nathan Marsh, Roger Osborne, Donnie Smith, and Eric Tuck have been asked to serve as Pallbearers.
