Mr. Luna Ray Smith, age 84 of The Wynnville Community, passed away Sunday, January 26, 2020 at his residence.

He is survived by his children – Donnie Smith (Whitney) of The Wilson Chapel Community, Betty Vaughn of Boaz, Charles Smith (Ann) of Cleveland, and Robert Lee Smith of Snead; his god sons – Charlie Blackmon of Guntersville and Jerry Williams of Blountsville; his grandchildren – Melissa Ann Smith, Johnny Ray Smith, Destiny Smith, Diamond Rae Smith, Greg Vaughn (Ashley), Jason Vaughn (Jessica), Starla Cossey (Coleman), Makala Lee Smith, and Betty Brianna Smith; 9 great grandchildren; sisters – Bobbie Stone of Altoona, Lena Clayton (James) of Altoona and Joan Wilemon of Albertville; special friends – Fernando Cruz and J.D. Hancock; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Mr. Smith is preceded in death by his wife – Betty Smith; his grandchildren – Cory Lee Smith and Crystal Jeanne Smith; his father – William Marion Smith; his mother – Beatrice (Moore) Smith; his step-mother – Estelle Smith; and his siblings – Helen Brumbalow, Fay Beasley, Estelle Clayton, Charlotte Brumbalow, and Tommy Lee Smith.

Brother Randy Hale will conduct the Funeral Service on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at 11:00 AM at The Chapel of The Snead Funeral Home.  Interment will follow at Dailey's Chapel Cemetery.  Mr. Smith will Lie In Repose, at Snead Funeral Home, Tuesday from 5:30 PM until 8:00 PM and Wednesday from 9:00 AM until Funeral Time.

Pallbearers will be – Roger Osborne, Austin Decker, Michael Chamblee, J.R. Bailey, Jerry Williams, William Clayton, Rexall Harper, and Barry Smith.
