Mrs. Lorene Gilliland Wood, age 95 of Susan Moore, AL., passed away Saturday, December 9, 2017 at Diversicare in Oneonta, AL.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law - Bobby and Wanda Wood of Oneonta, AL., her daughter and son-in-law - Brenda and Manning Burke of Susan Moore, AL., her daughter and son-in-law - Pat and David Sherrell of Jackson's Gap, AL., her daughter and son-in-law - Rhonda and Rodger Nabors of Jackson's Gap, AL., and her son - Don Wood of Boaz, AL.; 8 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; and 4 great-great grandchildren.

Mrs. Wood is preceded in death by her husband - Oren Wood; her son - Dwight Wood; her parents - W.F and Sonama Roberta Gilliland; and 12 siblings.

Brother David Sherrell will conduct the Funeral Service on Monday, December 11, 2017 at 1:00 p.m. at The Chapel of The Snead Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Mt. Moriah Cemetery. Mrs. Wood will lie in repose, at Snead Funeral Home, Monday from 11:00 a.m. until funeral time.

Pallbearers will be - Ray Franklin, Welsey Davis, Brett Wood, Casey Wood, Keith Burke and Kevin Burke.
